According to the sources close to the family, who confirmed the sad event, late Mrs. Adekunle had left her home in Abeokuta to visit a member of her family in Lagos.
The musician’s spouse, the mother of four children, reportedly arrived in Lagos on Sunday and shortly after eating dinner, complained of stomach ache. She was rushed to the hospital, however, shortly after getting there she passed away.
Sefiu Alao’s home in Abeokuta was surrounded by sympathizers on Tuesday.
The corpse of the deceased was brought to Abeokuta on Tuesday amidst tears from friends, family, and associates.
She was buried on Tuesday according to Islamic rites in Abeokuta.
